A native of Central Square, NY, Rachel's background is rooted in 18+ years of competitive running.  A national 10k road racing champion at age 14, Rachel also represented New York State at the Junior Olympic National Cross Country Championships.  In addition, Rachel earned numerous regional track championship titles in the 1,000m (indoors), 1500 and 3,000. Rachel competed at several Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor New York State Track Championships as well as the Indoor Track Scholastic National Championships. 

 A collegiate runner for Syracuse University, Rachel competed her freshman year for the Orange. After taking a several year hiatus from serious competition, Rachel discovered duathlon and triathlon in 1999.  In 2001, after winning the ITU Duathlon World Championship title for F25-29, Rachel was ranked #1 in the United States for amatuer women ages 25-29. In 2002, Rachel joined the professional ranks.  In addition to training and racing, Rachel's love of sport has led to the progression of becoming a private coach.  Rachel's coaches both scholastic high school runners and adult multisport athletes.  A USA Cycling certified and Triathlon certified expert level coach, Rachel owns Hypercat Racing, a coaching and consulting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Jolene Wilkinson began her athletic career as a gymnast at age 4. An elite gymnast at age 11, a National Champion triathlete by age 19, a world-champion age-group triathlete at age 23,and a scholarship runner, and now professional triathlete, Jolene has been competing in sports for 30 years. She completed the picture by earning her BS degree in psychology and physical education, soon followed by an MS degree in sport science with an emphasis in coaching from the United States Sports Academy. In addition, Jolene is currently working on her PhD in sport psychology. 

Jolene’s triathlon experience covers nearly all aspects of the sport. She started as an Ironkid, has made the world championship team and won the junior national championship twice and age group worlds, and has finished the Ironman in Kona.   

Jolene balances her racing with coaching and is a proud member of the U.S. Air Force Reserves.  She enjoys traveling (a perk of racing!), any outdoor activity, animals, friends, and photography.
